What is CBD
CBD or Cannabidiol is the non psychoactive component found in the cannabis plant. There are many other compounds found in the plant the most commonly known is THC or tetrahydrocannabinol. This is only legal for medical use under private prescription and not legal to buy in the UK or Ireland yet.
Why Hemporium
We have been trading in Omagh since April 2018 and the owner Barry Brown has a background as an advocate for legalising and regulating cannabis. Barry worked with the team that got medical cannabis legalised through local boy Billy Caldwell in 2018. Hemporium has worked above and beyond legal compliance for its products at all times.
Is it safe
The CBD market is currently undergoing massive transformation in terms of regulation. Our products are on the recently released list of CBD products from the Food Standards Agency.
